The Project

I developed a complete automated system to extract and analyze financial data from luxury conglomerates' annual reports, focusing on Kering and LVMH across 2022-2024.

The goal? Create an end-to-end pipeline from PDF extraction to interactive visualization, demonstrating skills in cloud computing, data engineering, and business intelligence.

Methodology & Tech Stack

🤖 Data Extraction: AWS Lambda PDF Parser

I developed a custom AWS Lambda function using Python to automatically extract financial metrics from PDF annual reports:

  • • LVMH (FY 2022, 2023, 2024): €79.2bn → €86.2bn → €84.7bn revenue

Extracted data includes: revenue, operating income, net income, operating margins, cash flow, and segment breakdowns.
